The fact that they're inside the building with the bats.
Why would anyone carry a bunch of bats into the building before handing them out through a window? Why wouldn't they have handed them out prior to going in?

i mean, the windows were blown out and broken. That's usually a sign that we are in a time that whatever "staff" inside would have left under normal circumstances.
