First of all, it was a terrorist attack. The terrorist leaders were the ones who instigated their low-brow minions to start riots and lead others to storm the Capitol.
Second, this is a complex event in which the use of certain words like 'terrorist' and 'insurrection' can be easily misinterpreted or misplaced. Who hasn't made a mistake in being careful how they word something, especially when commenting on the fly? I do it fairly often, and as a writer I understand that not taking the time to word things carefully can make all the difference in how you come across.
Ted knows he made a verbal mistake, and he admitted it and explained himself. Tucker's just an idiot who needs something to opinionate on and get ratings. Ted has done nothing but fight for his country and its Constitution. He's one of the few politicians I trust.
