Nah, the guy was super hyperbolic and only came up with any links via several hops, which isn't difficult for someone around Hollywood and someone as prolific as the guy who made podcasting interesting, who is at the forefront of the Comedy scene, the MMA scene and the talk/radio and podcasting scene. Is the MAPS thing interesting? Yeah, the naughty T word connection is peculiar. Does this directly connect to someone as huge as Joe? Yep. Does that seem very important or surprising? Not to me, especially considering how big Joe is. Is the Esalen thing interesting? Sure. That is a lot of "smart people" and well-connected people in one place at one time and calling it "bohemian grove-lite" is sensible and fitting. Does that mean Joe Rogan is a bad guy because he's associated with some of those people? I find that to be a stretch. Joe's an old stoner intellectual with serious connections. Him being connected to those guys some way isn't alarming to me considering his stature.
