If you have a cold with a fever, the solution is simple: stay home from work until the fever/worst of the cough passes. This will prevent spreading the cold and have you bounced back in just a day or two, ready to come back to work.

General rule: if you have a fever, don't go to work. You're probably contagious.

Agreed. Regardless if a cold or not - if one knows they are sick or exhibits symptoms of contagious illness then staying home and isolating/ soft quarantining away from others is the (morally ) correct thing to do anyway.

Clearly a Cloward & Piven tactic to overwhelm the system with financial burden. Have a city worker friend that tested positive, gets a two week paid vacation. Another friend in private sector that gets nothing for two weeks. In both cases there is loss of productivity and monies.
