I listen to this looking glass whistle lower now and then to cheer up. Even if quantum physics and multi-universes are not involved, still, computers can sort through data and choices to predict probable outcomes...and those outcomes will collapse into one if a major event disqualifies the alternative outcomes. Us waking up is that major event.
