I doubt there is a non-compete agreement that doesn't allow you to just go get a job elsewhere. Working as a attendant for another airlines is not competing.

And why the fuck aren't others backing their brothers and sisters? Going along with this mandate means you'll allow any future president to order you to be injected with whatever they decide is necessary "for safety" of the country.

How the fuck can they prevent people from accessing their 401k's? They might be able to restrain people from withdrawing the company provided match, but not anything put into the fund by the employee.

If the employees are smart, they'll call their local labor dept. There are a number of reasons why an employee can "no fault" quit, failure to pay is typically one of those items. There might be some loophole that's allowing them to get away with it, but information is better than no information.

Also, you can transfer your 401k to a private traditional IRA without taking a tax hit. Then they can withdraw whatever they need to get by.
