It's counterfeiting. We have that here already. Our economy is flooded with fake fiat money. Basically, it causes inflation as prices adjust to the money supply. I figure we're at about 20% inflation now. It will only accelerate as the criminals continue to counterfeit our currency.
The Chinese essentially have the exact same problem. It may be worse. In addition, they have the contagion of Evergrande. Fun times!
