Delegating morality.
The worst thing about this world is the laziness.
We only do the things we have to when we have to, there's no planning ahead or analyzing the situations we've seen.
We are emotionally lazy, we only care about what we are told to care about, and only in the way we are encouraged to feel regarding the particular subject, our ability to feel is myopic and malleable, our emotions are "Feel on command", otherwise its out of sight, out of mind, out of heart.
We are mentally lazy, the absolute worst thing about modern people is incuriousity, we lack the desire for knowledge, when we see something we dont understand, we no longer crave to understand it, when we hear something that we disagree with, we no longer wonder about why anyone would beleive that, we are comfortable with acting on gaps in our knowledge, doing things without knowing the reasons why, or even wondering about it, and delegating the act of knowing to someone else.
A world in which everyone is confidently acting on incomplete information, with not even the recognition of their desire to fill those gaps, is the absolute worst thing I can see, one must not fill the gaps with garbage assumptions, but one must still be able to wonder, and entertain multiple possibilities as to what could be there, and to desire to know which of the possibilities are actually true, if indeed any of them are.
