Every medical test has to balance false positives and false negatives (known as specificity vs sensitivity) which is part of the test's design. Most likely, home Covid tests are designed for maximum sensitivity (resulting in minimum specificity), meaning that there will be few false negatives but lots of false positives. That way any respiratory virus will show positive and people will stay home and not infect others. However many people will also go to the ER in panic when they have a minor cold.

This begs the question, if you have no symptoms, does testing positive for Wuhan flu matter? Let me rephrase my question, does having Wuhan flu matter?

Yes our overlords told us to test before visiting family. And apparently this is what happens, an incredible amount of false positives.

What a fucking joke this whole virus mass-hysteria has been. If it wasn't destroying the lives of so many people, it would be hilarious.
