Brother, every year there seems to be some investigation into child abuse within the Roman Catholic Church. I went through my mom's stuff after she passed and found a thick file on all the newspapers clippings of child abuse in the Catholic Church dating back to the early 70's. This was a devout Roman Catholic! She knew something is wrong in the church but couldn't bring herself to leave.
