I see violet car headlights (I hate those fuckers), but not purple streetlights.
Long wave length colors are best for lights as they penetrate through rain and fog. That is why highway lights are yellow. Blue and violet are short wave length colors. Makes no logical sense why they are using them. I find them very annoying to my brain. Something is going on they aren't telling us. They are popping up all over the place now.
