This is only partially true as mRNA uses nanolipid shell technology to deliver the synthetic mRNA into cells which has been done in the past, however, modifying messenger RNA to turn your body into an S protein factory has never been done to humans so this iteration is in fact an experiment. In this case it is apparent that the cure is worse than the disease but half the human population didn't need to participate in this experiment in order to find that out.
