No real Christmas this year. A series of unfortunate events and financial loss have me at home. I might make a fancy meal for my kids. They each have a present at least. We won't be visiting family though with a busted truck and we won't be buying a lot of gifts because my husband had surgery not even two weeks ago. The only ones getting gifts this year are my kids. They are the only ones that helped us out when my husband had to be rushed into emergency surgery.
Sorry to hear that. Hopefully things get better for your family soon. I've had my fair share of bare bones Christmas', it's no fun. It is a blessing that your husband made it through surgery, and you can be with him on Christmas. It will get better, we'll have you in our prayers.
Thank you. It is a blessing he survived to be honest. I guess I need to look at it that way.
