This happened about 7 or 8 years ago. Met her in connection with my job. My liberal boss was in to the idea of "political connections" and loved to mention when someone was "well connected." I thought it was weird this focus he had. But anyway, we were in his office and I used Cheneys name to talk about the pending sale. He got very upset, almost like an unconnected guy like me shouldn't even use her name. Now she comes out as a liberal in hiding. It's a big club and you ain't in it.
