Totally illegal still in my state, and love it. Cheap, plenty of options, and no doctors or taxes. Why did we say legalize it for so long? Legalizing it just created a new bureaucracy.

Very true. Luckily I am old, and know a lot of smokers. If you know someone that smokes it, you can get it. Anything is available. After all, it is The Cabal that is running the black market anyway. Medical cannabis is the vector for getting weed to the masses and expanding their market. Notice how no one is allowed to grow it at home still even though legal (for the most part)?
Very true. I told my Doctor this. I'm like: > "Bro. You do realize I want a specific kind of cannabis for insomnia and pain relief, which is why I am asking you. I don't need you to buy weed. I can get it almost anywhere, and it's just fine too". Then after going through this dumb process and being APPROVED, I still can't get it. Hopeless. My old mate told me I would still need to visit him regularly, as I would not be able to get what I needed from them. Boy was he right. No wonder he wasn't worried.
