Hundreds of thousands of people in this study for both the study group and the control group.
Out hundreds of thousands of people, 12 cases total were found in the study group.
There was a statistically significant difference in the male group but none in the female group.
What does this amount to in the statistics world? Statistical noise. The results themselves are statistically insignificant for both groups. Meaning, this is extremely unlikely.
It is more likely that they measured that heart related problems are more common among men than women.
For example, there was only 1 case in the control group for the 45-64 age range (and none in the vaccinated group). This is an age range where heart problems are definitely more common. But only one known case happened in the control group and not the vaccinated group? How can that be? Statistically, it should have been more common in the study group and control group. But it wasn't. That's because this is just statistical noise and doesn't give us a result for anything.
The largest anomaly is the J&J group, 25-44 age range. That had the highest rate of heart related issues. But it was still only 1.5 per 100K which is only slightly higher than population average.
They later admit that they controlled for various other issues such as COVID-19 infections causing the heart related issues, despite vaccination. Meaning, they may have indirectly measured the effects of COVID-19 infections in men instead of the vaccines. Because those that get the vaccines are more likely to work in professions that expose them to public and make them more likely to get COVID-19.
When your results are only 12 deep and 1 of the 12 is a man who had COVID-19 (they admit this in the conclusion), you should understand the power of your research is very limited (they admit this).
And then they later admit, "2 of 3 patients who developed myocarditis after the first dose of mRNA vaccination had mild COVID-19 infections about 1 month previous." Why is this important? Because we know COVID-19 causes heart problems.
So now we are down to 9 cases in the study group instead of 12. That brings the study group down to almost the same as the control group.
But what is the biggest reason of all? The lack of work, exercise, activity, etc. That is the best explanatory reason for the increased risk for men and it has nothing to do with the vaccines. They admit this at the end, as well:
"Alternatively, increased emotional stress and more unhealthy lifestyles during the pandemic may have resulted in heightened inflammatory states and worsening cardiovascular health."
This type of study needs to be an RCT and the study group needs to be 300,000 to 500,000 people large. They need to control for mobility/exercise before and after the pandemic. They need to control for people that used to go and move to work on the daily (working from home).
They conclude at the end of the study just as I have:
"Furthermore, the fact that troponin-T elevations occurred at comparable rates immediately after COVID-19 vaccination as immediately preceding vaccination suggest that some of the apparent increase in the diagnosis of myopericarditis after vaccination may be attributable to other changes in cardiovascular health in the United States population unrelated to the vaccine itself."
And they also admit that the heart issues are greater in people who get sick with COVID-19:
"The absolute incidence rate of myopericarditis in both men and women is less than the morbidity seen in patients who developed inflammation in the setting of COVID-19 infection"
But how much more? They should have told you that. It's a lot more:

The issue isn't the vaccines: the issue is men were put out of work, are stressed, etc. form the stupid policies governments put in place. After removing 3 of the 12 people form the study group who had COVID-19, the rates are almost exactly the same in the control and study groups meaning these vaccines are not the cause of the issue: it's most likely men being forced to stay at home, not exercise, and not work.
