Not after what I saw last year. "Americans" ain't what they used to be, or at least, what we imagined them to be. People have wandered too far to the "safety" side of the liberty vs. safety spectrum.

Keep in mind that the American public that you know is what is presented on the TV. Unless you've been around the country and interacted with lots of people you might be getting gas lit.

I haven't seen crowds of people out protesting demanding people get vaccinated. I do know a lot of people that have been vaccinated, but you can tell they are only doing it because they are being told by an authority, not because they believe in it. They might virtue signal a bit, but without the coercion, they probably wouldn't be lining up to be vaccinated. It's a weak, passive participation. Once they start seeing vaccinated people they know drop dead they will snap out of it.

Absolutely positively yes. Just witnessed it happen last week. Posted a personal story here about a couple of "covid" cases emerging in "fully vaccinated" people at work, then told about the guy who went and got a booster the very next day because he was scared. Everyone in the building knows these people are "fully vaccinated" and still tested positive. Blows my mind that people's bullshit detectors aren't alarming off-scale.

That is a big part of it. But many are just stupid.

The IQ of Americans has fallen drastically since George Washington's time.

The early settlers were some of the smartest people on earth. They had to be to survive and to want to leave Europe.

If you ever read the old high school tests etc from the 1700's you realize they were smarter than all of us.

That's what I'm seeing. I got a religious exemption but haven't said a word about it at work. Only my manager knows because he had to approve it.

They are talking about friends and family with clots, strokes, and other issues and then in the next breath they will talk about their scheduled booster or that they got it. It's crazy.

Oh, and a handful are bragging about jabbing their kids. Freaking insane. I knew that your average person will just do what the TV tells them, but wow. I really thought more than 20% would fight when they said boosters ever 6 months or 3 months or 3 shots a year...
