Ok. About had a litter of cats. Who the h e double toothpick would not aspirate first? Basic cautionary practice. Best practice. Where is it that folks are being taught that this is not necessary? I am ignorant of that change. But then i am OLD school. Very valid concern. Solid point for any injection.
If failing to aspirate is causing some of the problems, that opens the door for people who have suffered thrombo post-jab to file malpractice suits. Interesting.
The comments on the video are interesting too - many old-school RNs aghast at how such an important step as aspiration is apparently not being taught in nursing schools nor is being enforced as a standard medical procedure. This is alarming bc it extends much further than the jab.
