IMHO speaking with others around me about this, i rather opine to not get into debt one does not need to get into. Also, and what i am working on now, is what i feel is a very strong prompting to pay off any present debt. To shore up things for 2022. The first year anniversary of the usurpation is soon coming upon US and i just got some feeling. Yeah, just an opinion. Actually, just a sense about stuff.
I do believe we are going to witness how it is gonna shake out one way or another. And the less hooks in me, perhaps the better.
Tho' if it goes south does it really matter?
Pay it off if you can, whatever you owe. Hunker down and wait it out. Not with heavy heart, just being the patient watcher and still living your life. Live your new normal no matter what is being shoved in your face. While everyone else around is losing their cool, the last thing one needs to do is invite more stressors. In other words to incur some sizable debt. Some frens had a vehicle die. They knocked out some debt, not even talking about their constant stress over student debt, and now they buy a vehicle and i will not say the HUGE cost it was. Could hardly find anything, and in a crunch.
It is really tough when you are shopping in a state of emergency. Ya gotta have wheels. So they paid dearly. So another question: what else do i need to shore up or even perhaps shell money i do have NOW to plug the leak or actually FIX the problem. (this is gonna help someone)
I did pull some savings out to pay off the debt. it is not alot. With the dayum inflation the question is what is that money gonna be worth down the road? How much by then will have costs increased? So i am paying stuff off NOW. I also choose to live very simply. Ya dont have to have a bunch of new $h1t all the time. Who do you think you have to impress? Are they growing corn in your life?? (having useful purpose?)
Make Christmas sane, while you are at it. Less stuff; more real.
Godspeed.
