Two things: The Tappan Zee bridge is not in NYC, it is in Tarrytown NY. The original bridge was completed in 1955, and was designed to last 50 years. So based on that, the replacement was timely. I think Scavino was simply pointing out that a huge expensive bridge is named after a criminal scumbag. Maybe people will start demanding they change the name back to Tappan Zee.

Loved that bridge and the name. Massive money was spent on a new unnecessary bridge and they named it the Mario Cuomo bridge.
