Further, there are emergency powers set aside specifically for a president to interfere in such a situation and he didn’t use any of them. He sat there and watched as churches were closed and schools were closed and businesses were closed, he did nothing about it. Nothing. Not one thing. In fact he didn’t even speak up against it in many cases.

If a governor announces on live television that they are going to set off nuclear weapons in all of the major cities in their state to kill as many citizens as possible, do you think it would be OK if the executive branch just sat there and watched it happen?
