Just worry about it and live your days in fear...
But really they never give a good solution only present fears...
The way out is to be 100%self sufficient in some area where you won't be bothered even if the government imperial storm troopers roll out to round up citizens... you off in bumblefuckland won't be worth the effort to collect; they will head for the next town to get the 300 people there instead.
Not easy to do but it's the only way I see. Be as self sufficient as possible.
