Of course the supposed "diary" was fake. It was planted in PV's path by the FBI in order to create the pretext that they needed to justify the search warrants. Just as they used the Steele dossier, constructed entirely by the Clinton campaign as a pretext to go after the Trump campaign. These people really aren't all that smart. They keep doing variations of the same gag.

Sure there is. It only works if you buy into their premise. If a thing that's too good to be true tries to get up into your lap, first, call your attorney. Second, with your attorney present, call the FBI and document telling them. Tell them that you're documenting everything from the first contact (which was with one of their assets and they know it) and let them know that you're not just recording, you're broadcasting live as you speak. They hate that. Watch their bullshit dry up and blow away like a fresh turd in the Mojave.
