With this bill that was passed, what specifically is wrong with it?
I genuinely do not know other than reading on Poal, over and over, that the bill is garbage/trash/wasteful spending.
There are some actual infrastructure projects in it - bridges, roads, waterway improvements, etc. Then there are items that bear no actual relationship to infrastructure at all - I just started looking up some of the items - some, sections of the various title 23 (highways) are not to be found....
$500 million for the Healthy Streets Program - https://www.randoland.us/bill_breakdowns/the-bipartisan-infrastructure-bill-hr-3684/495/ $500 million to catalog tree types up and down the streets?
$500 million for “Transportation Resilience and Adaptation Centers of Excellence”
- https://www.randoland.us/bill_breakdowns/the-bipartisan-infrastructure-bill-hr-3684/496/ - The problem is that there is no title 23 section 520 (it ends at section 519) - https://uscode.house.gov/browse/prelim@title23/chapter5&edition=prelim - so what is the money exactly going to be spent on????
$250 million for the Congestion Relief Program - https://www.randoland.us/bill_breakdowns/the-bipartisan-infrastructure-bill-hr-3684/487/ - parking lot studies?
This is the type of reply I was looking for.
Thanks for taking the time to dig in and write this up for us.
the term "infrastructure" has also been changed to mean "human infrastructure"

Just take a guess which humans democrats will want to spend that money on. I bet they will be used to give money disproportionately and intentionally to black people.
