It shouldn't have even been close. McAuliffe ran on a campaign of mandates (vax, masks, etc), parent shouldn't get a say in their child's education, and forced diversity. He actually thought bringing Harris out on the campaign trail with him would help. There simply aren't that many crazy commies in VA.
