What a fucking hero.

Make them swallow their own fire.

While it is commendable that they are pursuing books like this from classrooms, this is actually a huge waste of time.

Why?

Children will learn much more than this from the internet by the time they are 12. This book is tame compared to the things children learn from the internet. Unless you're watching your kids on the internet the entire time, there's no way you can stop them from running into this content.

I was young enough that the internet was a thing by the time I went through middle school. Chat rooms, message boards, news sites, texting, and messaging apps.

You should really be asking yourselves: is this book a red herring for something else? Is this just faux outrage over a book that very few kids are going to read? Is the content in the book actually new information to most of them?

When I was 12, I knew what a Rusty Trombone, Dirty Sanchez, Cleveland Steamer, and Donkey Punch were. I knew what a MFF threesome was. I know what a pearl necklace was. BJs, strap-ons, and anal sex were far from new information. Even if you didn't look this stuff up on the internet, other kids did. They told you. Now everyone knows. Kids talk. A lot.

So what's the REAL solution? What is the REAL goal? To lower the degeneracy of kids or at least lower the pollution of their minds? I didn't need to know that crap when I was a kid. But it was easy information to run across by just looking it up on urban dictionary when you heard another kid talk about it.
