you're right about this. We just had to deal with a young guy who was teaching a class, and forgot he had another church member as his friend on his private twitter account. Dude was moonlighting as a flaming homo. Was very proud of my church for confronting it head on instead of being afraid. Brothers and sisters in the church are supposed to hold each other accountable in hopes that the person will repent. The Bible is very clear on how to handle sin in the church.
That's really good to hear, it's getting really bad.
That's the point of the gospel, that Christ died for sin. To deal lightly with it is to dishonor God greatly.
Everybody has this ministry and that ministry but sin is dealt lightly with too much nowadays.
