"For the last few years and especially since covid people have been not been using logic. It seems like critical thinking and cognitive effort have been drastically reduced. It was already kind of bad around 2015-2019 but after covid it got much worse.
I think all of the fear and propaganda has created some kind of mass paranoia/psychosis where people can't think clearly anymore."
My father -a retired Aerospace Engineer- pulls the worst logic from his ass from "are you against polio, whopping cough, or other vaccines" to "it's the unvaccinated like you (his son (me)) who are making the virus mutate infecting everyone around you".
Being that he HATED POTUS DJ Trump, I believe all of his decisions are now made through his political lens. Anyone else with this problem?
