Do people not realize that this is not a serious bill being proposed but rather a politician inappropriately using the legislative process to make political statements? This bill is intentionally drafted to mirror the recent Texas abortion bill. This is bill is designed to be ridiculous while still structurally resembling the TX bill with the explicit intent of being able to respond with "See! if this is unconstitutional then so is the TX law!" when anyone objects. The best case scenario for them is that this passes, becomes law, is immediately challenged in court and thrown out... that then allows them to go back to the supreme court because of "contradictory rulings"
