Money laundering is when you take illegal income and 'hide' it within the system to make it look legitimate. Usually you need a place that would deal in a lot of cash, like a pizza shop. You then use that enterprise to place money in a financial institution (placement), move it around to hide where it came from (layering) and then spend it in a way that makes it appear legal (integration). Modern art is used for tax evasion, it is a terrible conduit for integrating washed money as large transactions draw attention. Stop being ignorant.
