You are correct. Usury was done 1000's of years ago. Hence it was rebuked. I was referring to the modern financial system applying usury.
Usury has always been the tool of the Serpent seed. Not sure how the Templars fit in that. Many died fighting the Muslims in the Holy Land. We know that they had given out loans to the King of France. Phillip the Fair wanted nothing more than to eliminate that debt. On the other hand, the Bishop of Rome wanted the great treasure that the Templars found beneath the old foundations of King Solomon's Temple in their excavations. That is also why they were called the Knights of the Temple of Solomon since that is where they were encamped during their stay in Jerusalem. Nonetheless, the King of France finally got what he wanted and in dawn raids on Friday, October 13, 1307 the Knights Templar in France were arrested and imprisoned and the Bishop of Rome had them all burned at the stake 50 at a time and dissolved the Order. Many knights are known to have escaped to Scotland where they were welcomed. The Bishop of Rome never did get the Templar treasure. In the end the Chinon Parchment shows how the Roman Bishop absolved the Knights Templar of all fabricated crimes including usury.
The Bishop of Rome created Islam (according to Alberto Rivera) to rid the area of the original followers of Christ. What he didn't count on is the strength of Islam's followers and their take-over of the so called "holy land". The Knights Templars were to take back the Holy Land for the Bishop of Rome. Once that is accomplished the ancient pagan "rite" of pilgrimages could take place.
While you are required to make 1 pilgrimage in your lifetime it was likely that you would be killed or robbed or both. The Knights Templars would take your money in Rome and give you a certificate so you could redeem your money in Jerusalem. Think of American Express certificates. If you made it, all is well. If you didn't make it they kept your money. Nice racket. Guess who they shared the profits with? You got it, Rome. Now there is an incentive to rob or kill pilgrims. Anyway, back to the point, this is where modern day banking originated.
This is why Constantine gave up trying to kill all the Christians. Diocletian murdered as many as he could and at the end of the 10 years of persecution there were more Christians than when he started. They needed a new tactic. Enter Constantine and taking over the Christian faith. This is where Paganism married Christianity and the real Christians led away from their faith.
