Viral footage has been posted on social media of Melbourne protesters charging through police lines as thousands of Queenslanders gathered in Brisbane for a Freedom Day rally.

The demonstration started at 12pm after a crowd gathered at Richmond Town Hall, which is located a few blocks down from the local police station.

Later in the day the mood turned violent with protesters tackled to the ground by officers and protesters charging through police lines.

Capsicum spray has been used by police to keep protesters at bay and Twitter clips have shown an officer trampled by shouting demonstrators.

Not a great analogy, bud. I see what you mean, but I'm not sure how avoiding undoing the demoralization shouldn't be tried first. There's too many men in too many places who think we should either just kill everyone or kill themselves. Neither of those are very good ideas though. It isn't really that hard to at least try and talk some sense in to people. tell me how many times throughout history have police and/or soldiers disobeyed orders because what they were ordered to do was wrong? It's easier to talk a jumper of a ledge then tell the police or soldier to turn on his superiors. This is virtually impossible.
