The day after January 6, Trey Gowdy went on Fox News to condemn President Trump and his supporters for the events that took place at the US Capitol, stating, “Prosecute every damn one of them to the fullest extent of the law.”

Americans may have forgotten that Trey Gowdy, host of Sunday Night in America on Fox News, previously slammed President Donald Trump and his supporters over the events that took place at the Capitol on January 6, calling for the government to “prosecute every damn one of them to the fullest extent of the law” the day after the situation took place.

“Just a sad despicable day. I never, never thought, I worked there for 8 years Sandra, I never thought I would see Americans assault law enforcement officers trying to break into the People’s House. Prosecute every one of them to the fullest extent of the law,” Gowdy told Fox News host Sandra Smith, as the FBI call line showed on the screen.
