This always happens. Its happened continually since Korea.
Its the default.
Its meant to be an industry that makes fabulous amounts of money for the participants and they need to cycle it through abandonment and destruction to reintervention and reconquest and to investment over and over again.
Unfortunately, I do understand all too well. America is sick and tired of being the cannon fodder for the misadventures/profit centers of the deep state.
Well we are rarely the fodder. Its usually the people of the country we go into but I get your meaning.
People are much more widely aware than they were when Gen Smedley wrote his book "War is a Racket" in the early 1900's.
And remember every decade a new generation is born that starts out life trusting what they read and hear. They all have to learn anew. This is why it can happen over and over.
