Well we are rarely the fodder. Its usually the people of the country we go into but I get your meaning. People are much more widely aware than they were when Gen Smedley wrote his book "War is a Racket" in the early 1900's. And remember every decade a new generation is born that starts out life trusting what they read and hear. They all have to learn anew. This is why it can happen over and over.
