I'm not sure. There are two statements for August 23, one that announces approval of the BLA for "COMIRNATY." Then they talk about revising the EUA, but for the "Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine".
Even though they're technically the exact same thing, the label is what determines which one you're getting, as far as the law is concerned. Drug laws are weird as hell.
I'm not saying you're wrong but I can't imagine nobody else noticed this. I think it's just confusing lawyer talk.
At least they have an insert in the package now
COMIRNATY has not been evaluated for the potential to cause carcinogenicity, genotoxicity, or impairment of male fertility. In a developmental toxicity study in rats with COMIRNATY there were no vaccine-related effects on female fertility [see Use in Specific Populations (8.1)].
