I have thought about that. You can't get anywhere near the exhaust of a large engine. It's 800 degrees or hotter. BUT those engines are mounted very high and the hot exhaust comes out of the center of the engine which is very high above those people. By the time it lowers down to the height of their heads it's cooled off and is probably about 50 feet behind the engine.

What I can't understand is how no one has their hands over their ears.
