No one did any of that crap because no one had any intention of breaking the law. It was supposed to be a lawful protest that the President endorsed.
Their mistake was getting caught up in the moment and entering the Capital when the FBI opened it and encouraged them to go in.
If they had done all that OPSEC stuff you mentioned then they could have risked going in there.
But that wasn't the plan and they should have stayed the fuck outside.
Just because you don't plan on committing a crime doesn't mean you shouldn't take precautions incase you are forced to commit one, accidentally commit one, or commit a crime with no say in the matter in the case of something like possession.
The one thing they should've learned from Blantifa is to mask up and use umbrellas and wear non-descript clothing with no identifying marks and that covers tattoos, etc.
That, and all of your other advice is worthless. Antifa is a bunch of criminal terrorists who know they are going out to deliberately break the law. The people who were at the capital were not criminals and they did not go there to engage in criminal behavior. Why would anybody law abiding citizen think they needed to hide their identity?
The police opened the gates and waved them in, they strolled around, sightseeing, and, for the most part, they stayed in the designated areas for tourists. No reasonable person would think they have to hide their identity just to visit the capital.
