We still have no idea where John Durham is, but I think you’ll like this update.

We are being told that Durham’s grand jury is investigating whether anyone outside of government helped to push the Russia collusion narrative with fake evidence.

Who is the first person that comes to mind as someone outside of the government who has an interest in taking President Trump down?

Hillary Clinton.

Sometimes I forget that she’s no longer in government because she has been on the political stage at many different times and in many different roles.

It’s almost like the Democrats keep her in reserve and switch her in whenever they need to…..

I am not saying that Hillary is guilty, what I am saying is she certainly has the motive, social connections, and political clout to execute something like the Russia hoax.

Here’s more on the story: Videos at above link.

The update was provided by The Associated Press:

John Durham, the federal prosecutor tapped to investigate the origins of the Russia investigation, has been presenting evidence before a grand jury as part of his probe, a person familiar with the matter said Friday.

The development is a potential sign that Durham may be mulling additional criminal charges beyond the one he brought last year against a former FBI lawyer who admitted altering an email about a Trump campaign aide who’d been under FBI surveillance. Durham is also expected to complete a report at some point.

A Justice Department spokesman declined to comment, citing an ongoing investigation.

A number of GOP senators are also suddenly curious about Mr. Durham: https://www.blackburn.senate.gov/services/files/B65BC982-3DBB-4DEC-BCA1-B7BABCD7B130

"Dear Attorney General Garland:

We write to request an update on the status of Special Counsel John Durham’s inquiry into the Crossfire Hurricane Investigation.

Two years ago, your predecessor appointed United States Attorney John Durham to conduct a review of the origins of the FBI’s investigation into Russian collusion in the 2016 United States presidential election. Mr. Durham was later elevated to special counsel in October 2020 so he could continue his work with greater investigatory authority and independence.

The Special Counsel’s ongoing work is important to many Americans who were disturbed that government agents subverted lawful process to conduct inappropriate surveillance for political purposes. The truth pursued by this investigation is necessary to ensure transparency in our intelligence agencies and restore faith in our civil liberties. Thus, it is essential that the Special Counsel’s ongoing review should be allowed to continue unimpeded and without undue limitations.

To that end, we ask that you provide an update on the status of Special Counsel Durham’s inquiry and that the investigation’s report be made available to the public upon completion. Thank you for your attention to this matter."

Agreed. What do you think is the reason? Seems to have come out of nowhere.

Having served on a Grand Jury I cannot imagine a circumstance whereby a name with such celebrity status as Hillary Clinton would not cause a jury to fall prey to bias. I wonder if it is even a possibility for a Prosecutor to deliver argument in such a fashion so that John or Jane Doe is said to have done such and such to such on day/month/year and have the jury deliberate the facts only.

But Hillary still was still in government at the time of these accusations, no?

Actually, Mark Zuckerberg popped into my mind first as far as someone who is “outside of the government“. I mean fake evidence is fake evidence whether it comes from the government or not, an investigative body or not. Is that maybe what they mean? Or do they mean official evidence from an intelligence or law-enforcement source?

I don’t know this isn’t source very well. We know he’s presenting evidence to a grand jury, but I see nothing to verify the claim that is made in this article. Linking to other sources that don’t name the sources that link to other sources that don’t name their sources isn’t sourcing. This sounds very much like a “we heard” type of situation. Heard from who? How reliable are you? How reliable is the source that you “heard” this from? I don’t know man…

I really hope this stupid Durham thing goes somewhere.

Durham is not obligated to release a report. His job is to prosecute, not to report.

It's in the hands of the military.

I'd prefer prosecutions.

You and me and 80% of the world too ;)

Mil courts will make judgements in short order, good or bad.

Civil courts could take decades for some of the more intertangled cases. Most verdicts and sentencing will come up short due to political pressure.

As soon as the Arizona election audit results are released....

Please hold your breath until the first arrest happens.

But sir! That might be harmful to his health!

His investigation led him to Afghanistan then the fall, now he is stuck behind enemy lines with a dead cell.

Yeah a half a dozen names you've never heard. Their bosses will go unscathed.
