How can you scan a QR code when there is no QR code? Is it emiting in infrared?

I'd have no way of knowing ATM, it may be in conjunction with the person's phone.

I ran a test of the post above this morning at the local gym and what I saw under available bluetooth devices was a large number of what appeared to be computer hardware addresses. The number was roughly equal to the number of people in the gym.

Mixed in were 3 or 4 that were just the name of the phone or brand. Mine also appears that way but I am unvaccinated.

Now it could just be that most people's phones are only broadcasting the phone's hardware address, for some odd reason.

Another test I have yet to run is whether they change periodically. Hardware addresses don't change periodically but these numbers allegedly do refresh, according to the post above.

I have a friend that I know is vaccinated, I may try it the next time I see him.
