As the crisis has continued to worsen in Afghanistan, Biden has been largely silent, mainly issuing boilerplate Twitter responses and casually telling the country he’ll update us on the situation “in a couple of days”. In response, President Trump issued the following blistering statement: “It is time for Joe Biden to resign in disgrace for what he has allowed to happen in Afghanistan, along with the tremendous surge in COVID, the border catastrophe, the destruction of energy independence, and our crippled economy.
