I read ( couple times on different sites with different sources ), that number of all dead in 2019 and 2020 are almost same, difference is far bellow 17%. In margin of normal statistical fluctuation. Well, I don't personally count dead people , just like you. So we MUST BELIEVE™... in Afro'murica media .... Well, NO I don't believe, thanks but NO! Anyway both sides are prone to manipulate with numbers, lie, exaggerate, put facts out of context, etc.

PS. same is in Europe, even in counties which have 'high Covid dead rate'. No big difference between 2019 and 2020. Jump occur in 2021, especially after vaccination start.
