I have started being very open about my un-vaccinated status in my social life. I hear a lot of "Trust the Science!" I have started coming back with
"Did you actually talk to your doctor about the vaccine? I did. Did you? His exact words were 'I cannot recommend the vaccine unless you are over 75 years old.'
He said 'Although both Moderna and Pfizer are proving to provide some robust protection and reduces your chances of hospitalization, no one knows any of the long term risks. Anyone who claims to know the long term risks of these new mRNA treatments is lying. We are also starting to see some troubling associations with other medical events that some people are concerned are in fact adverse reactions to the shots. The recovery rate is very high. I would only recommend it if you were in a high risk group.'
THIS is my doctor's advice to me personally... so let me ask again. Did you actually talk to a doctor? I AM following the science. Ask your self if you are following the science or if you are taking medical advice from politicians and celebrities."
Every word of this is true... this is exactly what my doctor said... I have used these exact words on three different people and in each case I have seen people be socked into silence. The moment that they realize that they had not ever actually talked with a doctor... the moment when they realize that are in fact taking medical advice from a politician... it can be painful to watch.

He openly admitted this... but also followed up with 'The issue has been politicized and there is a lot of mis-information out there' as well as 'The scary thing is that I have no more data on these things than you... I learn about new developments through the same news articles. Information about Covid and Covid treatments is not being published the way medical data normally is and this disturbs me greatly."
My doctor said many disturbing things but he said one thing that ensured he will remain my doctor for the time being... He said "I am disturbed by the attacks on personal liberty and informed patient consent that are starting to happen with vaccine mandates. No one should be forced into this."
