When people lose everything, they lose it.
What do you think of the whole fight club philosophy of hitting rock bottom as a sort of nirvana moment?
Yeah, happens all the time, but not all pull out of a slump.
"Don’t judge people in their reduced circumstances, nobody aspires to be there."
I mean being in that rock bottom slump is like stubbing your toe, no way out, just have to deal with what's in front of you. We can be in the moment in those brief intense instances. Like something sort of clicks, you aren't even thinking, everything just kind of happens. You don't even realize how hard you are concentrating in that moment, how much effort you're exerting or what is even happening. How do you take that with you and make it the only way to see things, you can't. It's almost like your mind always gets in the way, something that you have to think about robs you of that moment.
How do you hypnotize yourself so you can use that moment at will?
