I can absolutely agree to this.
But like everything good in this life, overdoing it doesn't do one any good, and it might be the aim of the joos anyway. Think about it, above all they abhor a balanced individual. They either want a willing slave, or the raving individual who lacks impulse control and cry's wolf at every stimulus. Makes them easier to spot and control.
