Thanks for the well thought out reply. Fascinating. Yeah, I would have been one of those guys chasing girls instead of reading about the Illuminati. Growing up Catholic you are not encouraged to read the bible. So when I started searching for god and really reading the bible a lot of truths and lies became obvious. We really do live in a world full of lies. Some intentional some handed down by traditions of men.

Thanks for the other books and authors. I will check them out. God bless friend.

I was brought up Protestant and we even had an illustrated King James Bible in our grade school classrooms. I was fascinated by it as a kid. We were always encouraged to study the Scriptures. I am somewhat surprised that Roman Catholics did not encourage Bible study. But yet again I have to remind myself that some of my Protestant ancestors on my Dad's side of the family fled from the Roman Catholic Inquisition back in the late1690s and found refuge among the British where they later settled in New England. Its a matter of history that the blood of many millions of Christians over the centuries became the foundations of the Roman Church. It was man made dogma rather than the Scriptures that held precedence in with the Roman clergy.

If you want to know the history of the Roman Church check Foxes Book of Martyrs. The Pope says he baptized paganism. That's how he explains away the pagan rituals of the Roman Catholic Church. People are so eager to believe it. God's likes and dislikes are quite clearly written in the bible.
