Great point. How much energy do they use? The lakes in California are drying up and their hydro-electric plants are shutting down.

1 large data center consumes 12 terawatts per month, enough to power 100,000 homes. Multiply that by the amount of data centers around the country, and you have a massive amount of energy being consumed. Big oil gets paid regardless, green tech is really just about paying big oil less for their massive energy consumption.

Funded by big tech and pointing the finger at big oil, which is really just big tech pissing sour grapes at the profit they're missing out on.

Big oil and chip manufacturing is already bending over backwards to increase efficiency and these trannies are still crying foul.
