I went to assist my Mother on Monday, she had outpatient surgery. I have stayed with her for three days and two nights. Her daughters were not available and I guess since I am retired, I was the logical choice.

In that short period of time, my Mom, along with the rest of my siblings, her friends and neighbors, have no clue about what society is experiencing.... none. The state: Tennessee.

Despite what you may hear on the news about the crackdown on Tennessee, no one wears a mask in her town. The surgery center did not wear masks, the grocery stores, the pharmacy, the church or any of the people. None of my family watches the news. They look at the weather or watch parts of the local news, but other than that, nothing.

Half of them are too busy mowing the fields, tending to their gardens, canning or helping out a neighbor to even turn on the TV. It is a whole different world in her town. It is as if time is standing still.

They have a "sense" of what is happening, but refuse to participate. There is no fear or any anger. They are very dependent on their faith with a "God is in control" attitude. They have active devotional with their morning coffee and at night before they retire. They focus on the good and to service of their community. I don't know how to explain it, but it is as if there is a blanket of protection over them.

It was quite a nice vacation to experience this other life, which still exists, before covid. Just thought I would share. I can't help but wonder, now that I am back home, if the great awakening, poal, and the hundreds of other alt sites aren't filled with instigators and shills in order to keep everyone paralyzed, angry and stuck? And to not have the news or Tucker on, was a needed break.

Take care of yourselves and your families. We are all getting older, we never know how much time we have left to spend with each other. Focus on the good and always, thank God for his provisions.

Very very refreshing post. To fight the good fight, i advise folks to love your fam, love your neighbor, be an all around good Joe (oh my bad, let me change that to Sam or Charlie or somethin). I tell 'em live a sane life in as far as you are able. Simplify and dont get all caught up in stuff and drama.

Just to love God and steer clear of all the crap flyin' around is DEFINITELY fighting the good fight.

Don't show up for the crazy stuff. I have not changed a thing since the massive uptick of panic and control.

If it ever comes to your front door, well, be "stocked up" for Plan B. What good to be eaten up by fear and worry?

I am only a sojourner through this world. A much better Home awaits.

And THAT my friends is THE key to getting through all this shit. None of us will "survive it" anyway and who'd want to? Look forward to the next stop. This weigh station is finished
