Wasn't Blackrock given all those houses that went for sale cheap after the crash of 2008/9? Normally they would get sold through HUD to the regular folk. Not this time. The taxpayer got to hold the motrtgages. Banks got to unload their bad mortgages onto the taxpayers and Blackrock got the properties on the cheap.
