That is true but it says everyone that has faith will. Read Hebrews 11. The whole chapter is about faith throughout the ages.
Careful with the scripture game. Satan tried to pull that stuff on the Christ.
Remember Satan didn't believe that Jesus was the Messiah and kept saying "if" you are the son of God....... Jesus kept going back to scripture to show that God's Word is paramount.
The interesting thing about Satan tempting Jesus was the last one.
Matt 4:8 Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9“All this I will give You,” he said, “if You will fall down and worship me.”
10“Away from Me, Satan!” Jesus declared. “For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.”
Obviously Satan owned all these things if he could offer it to Jesus. Jesus refused for the kingdom of heaven far outweighs anything on earth. Here's the interesting thing: Who did Satan give all that power to?
Actually Satan did not own them. They were on loan from his Creator. Be careful once again, Satan did not understand the Cross and that the Messiah must suffer. Pick up your Cross and follow him.
